Dr.-Ing. Christian Scheifele
Head of Research and Development Simulation Technology

Since 2019 Dr. Scheifele is head of the research and development department simulation technology of ISG Industrielle Steuerungstechnik GmbH. After studying mechatronics at the University of Stuttgart until the beginning of 2015, Christian Scheifele initiated the research group "Virtual Methods in Production Engineering" as a PhD student at ISW. Under his leadership, the group pursued the simulation and software-supported development, system planning, testing, training, service and operation of production processes and plants and thus very quickly became a scientific leader for answers to virtual models, methods and tools for the life cycle
phases of mechanical and plant engineering. He is an expert in the field of real-time simulation of machines and plants and received his doctorate in 2019 with his scientific work on the platform for real-time co-simulation for virtual commissioning.
