Dr. Christian Daniel
Business manager simulation technology, Consulting
Dr. Christian Daniel has been implementing innovative processes in product development and production in leading positions in plant and mechanical engineering for over 30 years.
He studied electrical engineering at the University of Stuttgart and received his doctorate at the Institute for Control Engineering of Machine Tools and Manufacturing Units (ISW) on the topic "Dynamic configuration of control software for open systems". From 1993 to 1996 he was head of the control engineering department at ISW and managing director of FISW GmbH.
Subsequently, he took over the department "Technology" and power of attorney at C. Haushahn GmbH in the elevator construction sector, where he was responsible for innovation management, among other things.
From 1999 onwards, as Deputy Managing Director, he was in charge of all technical divisions of Bystronic Lenhardt GmbH. In this context he introduced simulation systems in engineering and production and implemented configurable platform concepts for systems for the manufacture and finishing of insulating glass.
Since 2013 he has been contributing his many years of industrial experience as a business manager in the field of simulation technology to users of the ISG-virtuos simulation system from ISG Industrielle Steuerungstechnik GmbH.
In addition, he is actively involved in the VDMA working group "Simulation and Visualization" and is a member of the project advisory board in the development of a practice-oriented guide for virtual commissioning.
