Dr. Birgit Boss works at Robert Bosch GmbH and has been involved in the national and international standardization of industrial IoT systems since 2017, with the aim of making the factory of the future a reality. Her main topics are digital twins and semantic interoperability. She is on the board of the newly founded Industrial Digital Twin Association and chair of the "Semantic Data Structuring" working group of the Open Manufacturing Platform.
