Bastien Atger is an R&T Pilot Seats Project Leader at the Rochefort
STELIA Aerospace plant in France. In 2008, he graduated from ENIT, Ecole
National Ingénieur of Tarbes. He started as a Pilot Seats Designer on
the A350 program in 2008 at Rochefort SOGERMA. Since STELIA’s
establishment in 2015, he developed specific skills for additive
manufacturing design applied to aeronautical parts and assemblies. He
focuses his activities on titanium powder bed fusion technologies in
order to define a design-to-print philosophy for his company.
Development of a Design-to-Print Philosophy Focused on Economical Efficiency
STELIA Aerospace designs and produces aerostructures, pilot seats, business as well as first class passenger seats. These activities can benefit from additive manufacturing with appropriate design.
